Things are moving and shaking all over the world as usual, I love watching it happen but I don't have too much time to write about them. Lebanon is a major news item -- another war-torn country coming up for air, and since this is my site and I don't particularly care what the libocrats say or think anymore, I'm crediting a President George W. Bush and his foreign policy that is the most spectacular far-reaching peace plan I have heard from the White House for... yeah about 12 years. Syria is thumbing the U.N. on this one, but they have no allies. NPR wants to be sure that we all understand that not everyone wants Syria to leave. Hezbollah would prefer a Syrian military presence. Russia and Germany came around on this issue, but things seem a little quiet from the French end. Hmm....
