For the one-half of a person out there in the world who might somehow care someday for some unclear reason, the "other" LIM kinase listed on flybase is not a LIM kinase. It is a LIM protein. Another rabbit trail, no rabbit. I've been afraid to try and think of all of the good reasons that I am in a graduate program because CRAP what if I can't think of any? That would be sad. Instead I will write down my novel thought of the day, which came about 2 hours after flipping though yet another book on prayer. At Walmart. There is nothing new under the sun. And of course, that is not even a novel thought. We have to seek God because humans got NUTHIN. Maybe the best thing gained from today was a nice quote. "I'm made of wax. What are you made of?" Now that I've shared that there is no reason for anyone to go and watch "Night at the Museum." Complete waste of time. Well, not complete. I now know who the 26th president of the United States was. The day ended well, however. I picked up some ice cream and root beer and made a float in celebration of my future exit from graduate school. Day unknown, year unknown, but sometimes you have to celebrate early. Calling things that are not as though they were. Maybe tomorrow I will find a green fly WITH curly wings. Oh no! Stop that optomism!
